Characteristics of aluminum strip:

(1) High corrosion resistance: alkali resistance and acid resistance. Due to the formation of oxide film, the surface energy is lower, so its chemical stability is much better than that of copper; It also has good plasticity and ductility.

(2) Good electrical conductivity: the resistivity of aluminum increases with the increase of temperature. In addition, it has excellent thermal conductivity.

(3) The elastic coefficient is small: when the aluminum is plastic at room temperature, the elongation is 1.5 ~ 1.8%. The tensile strength is inversely proportional to the square root of plasticity. When the temperature is 150°C, the elongation is zero.

(4) Good processing formability: easy to extrude into various profiles, plates and pipes; Easy to be made into thin-walled tubular structure or used as a free forging die; It can also roll square pipe and various type edge materials.

(5) Good sound absorption effect: Aluminum alloy is a silver-white light metal, and its surface can be sprayed with a variety of paints to obtain different color luster.

(6) Light weight and durable: density is only 2.71kg/m3, about 2/3 of the density of steel.
